Dedon asks outside designers to draw its collections, then its weavers on Cebu build them by hand. Here is who drew what, with links to every collection.

  • Jean-Marie Massaud, designer of the Dedon Seax and Satellite and Paros and Sealine and Seashell Grand and Seashell Nuo collection

    Jean-Marie Massaud

    Jean-Marie Massaud balances comfort with elegance and heritage with the spirit of the time. His Dedon collections include Seashell, Sealine, Seax, Paros and Satellite, and his wider work covers product and store design and a football stadium.

  • Sebastian Herkner, designer of the Dedon Mbrace and Mbarq and Loon and Mbrace Alu and Mdear collection

    Sebastian Herkner

    German designer Sebastian Herkner combines new technology with traditional craft to bring out materials and details. His Dedon work spans dining, lounge and lighting, including Mbrace, Mbarq, Mdear and the Loon lights.

  • Stephen Burks, designer of the Dedon Dala and Kida and Ahnda collection

    Stephen Burks

    Stephen Burks builds much of his work around handcraft and has collaborated with artisans around the world. His Man Made project links developing-world production with industry and contemporary design, and museums in New York, Atlanta and Chicago have shown his work.

  • Lorenza Bozzoli, designer of the Dedon Brixx and Porcini collection

    Lorenza Bozzoli

    Lorenza Bozzoli came to furniture from fashion design and brings an eye for detail and craft. For Dedon she designed Brixx, Fedro and Porcini, and her work has been shown at the Cooper-Hewitt in New York and the Triennale Design Museum in Milan.

    Arik Levy

    Israeli-born Arik Levy works as an artist across public sculpture, video art and industrial design. He lives in Paris, museums and galleries around the world have exhibited his work, and for Dedon he designed the Izon collection.

    Arnd Küchel

    Swiss designer and architect Arnd Küchel works from St. Moritz and Zurich and favors architecture that explains itself. He weighs the intuitive against the subtle and looks at how people relate to buildings and their surroundings.

    Benjamin Baum

    Benjamin Baum designed Roii for Dedon, a light, stackable seating collection that added a herringbone weave to the brand's range.

    Claudio Bellini

    Claudio Bellini, born in 1963, is an architect and designer who runs his own Milan practice, founded in 1996. The studio is recognized across Europe and beyond for work that pairs beauty with efficiency across many cultures and markets.

    Dedon Design Studio is the brand's in-house team. It develops collections such as the Reav sunshades in Dedon's own R&D labs, with customers' long-term needs in mind.

    Daniel Pouzet

    Daniel Pouzet studied in Paris and in his native Bucharest. His work pairs architectural rigor with fantasy and play and often takes cues from nature. For Dedon he designed Swingrest, and Nestrest with Fred Frety.

  • Daniel Pouzet & Fred Frety, designer of the Dedon Nestrest collection

    Daniel Pouzet & Fred Frety

    Daniel Pouzet, trained in Paris and his native Bucharest, mixes architectural rigor with fantasy and play. Fred Frety reworks natural forms through a process of contemplation and questioning. Together they designed Nestrest for Dedon.

  • Edward Barber & Jay Osgerby, designer of the Dedon Tibbo collection

    Edward Barber & Jay Osgerby

    Edward Barber and Jay Osgerby founded their London studio in 1996 and work across industrial design, furniture, lighting and installations. Their commissions include the London 2012 Olympic Torch, and Tibbo is their first project for Dedon.

    Frank Ligthart

    Frank Ligthart approaches design with curiosity and pragmatism. For Dedon he created the award-winning Leaf collection as well as Lounge, one of the brand's oldest and best-known designs.

    GamFratesi

    GamFratesi is the design duo of Stine Gam and Enrico Fratesi. Their first Dedon project was the AIIR chair, the brand's first injection-molded seating, and they returned years later with the Mymi collection.

    Harry-Paul

    Harry-Paul is the designer Dedon credits for the Babylon collection in its current outdoor furniture range.

  • Henrik Pedersen, designer of the Dedon Bellmonde collection

    Henrik Pedersen

    Henrik Pedersen trained in fashion design before moving into furniture and industrial design. From his Aarhus studio, which focuses on lifestyle-centered design, he pursues emotional expression, sound engineering and close attention to detail, as his Bellmonde collection for Dedon shows.

    Hoffmann & Kahleyss

    Birgit Hoffmann and Christoph Kahleyss founded Hoffmann Kahleyss Design in Hamburg in 2013. Besides furniture, the studio designs interiors, exhibition stands and showrooms and produces photo shoots, with a forward-looking take on modern design.

    Richard Frinier

    American designer Richard Frinier is a pioneer of outdoor furniture who works in styles from classic to contemporary. He has been linked with Dedon since its early days and received the outdoor industry's lifetime achievement award.

    Samuel Wilkinson

    London designer Samuel Wilkinson trained in furniture and product design and looks for new takes on everyday objects. He puts weight on craft, detail and sustainability, and Fllair is his first collection for Dedon.

  • Werner Aisslinger, designer of the Dedon Cirql Nu collection

    Werner Aisslinger

    Berlin designer Werner Aisslinger founded his studio in 1993 and works across furniture, hotel interiors and brand architecture. The studio's projects have won awards, and his work has appeared at institutions including the Museum of Modern Art in New York.
